A brand new website that I came across for free online dating is ProMatching. After digging around a little, I found some interesting features on the site. This website offers free online dating services in the US, Canada, Australia and UK for now. I think they should expand more. Maybe they are just testing the waters and see how it goes.
Now, about the features and functionality of Promatching. The website is a breath of fresh air with nice graphics, conveniently easy tabs to navigate around. Other dating sites I have been checking out have almost the same bland look, contents and same functionality. The basic search feature on the front page gives the capability to start searching as soon as you hit the site. You will get the results right away. You can also contact members for free but will need to register once in order to do so.
Downside of Promatching is that there are not many profiles posted. So, even if you do have to run the search, you may not get many results. That should change in the coming future, because there is a potential for dating sites that provide convenience to its members.
Online Dating has moved into the mainstream of love and romance. It can be an excellent way of meeting new people. Gone are the days when online dating sites were thought to be only used by desperate and aging people. Dating sites now cater to younger audience as well, since the web is secure and safe way to know all about the person, if used properly, and then proceeding ahead with the future plans of setting up the dates etc.
With nearly everyone jumping on the online dating wagon, there are more chances of you meeting someone on the online dating sites, as opposed to meeting someone traditional way. The more options you have to post your profile online, the more chances you have of meeting someone of your liking.
There is not much to say about Promatching. Only time will tell how they perform with so big players already in the dating industry. I may have to come back to this post again, and edit it after checking out the performance of this free online dating service.
